Created in 1975, formerly SOCADA (Société Camerounaise pour le Developpement Automobile), becomes a 100% subsidiary of the group CFAO (French West Africa Company) in July 1994. The company then undergoes several transformations. Following a merger-absorption in 2017, it becomes  CFAO Equipment , a department of CAMI (Cameroon Motors Industries - a subsidiary of CFAO Automative in Cameroon) dedicated in particular to players and investors in the construction, agriculture, logistics and transport sectors.
